The Channel of abstraction
64 - 47 A design of mental activity mixed with clarity The Channel of Abstraction links the Head Center to the Ajna Center through the Gate of Confusion (64) and the Gate of Realization (47). Those with definition in Channel 64-47 are always under pressure to sift through a kaleidoscope of mental images from every experience, even their dreams. They are trying to make sense out of the past and gain perspective. They seek a story to share, either about their life or someone else's, maybe from this lifetime or perhaps from another.
Background: The Channel of Abstraction is an experimental mental force that dabbles in a ll kinds of possibilities, regardless of rules, until something mysteriously emerges and makes sense. This is a mind busy with the consequences of being alive. Merging the conceptualization of the neocortex (Ajna Center) with the deep gray matter of the brain (Head Center), it gifts us with the true potential of self-reflected consciousness. To be at peace with themselves however, those with this channel must remember that the mind can never be an internal authority for their own life, and it will never be 100% sure of anything. Personal: You have a very active, experience mind that never stops playing with possibilities, and you probably wonder if it will ever stop being busy. You can experience considerable mental confusion as a result of tie constant swirl of images always moving through it, feeling at times a bit like a drunk monkey stung by a scorpion. This confusion can make the beginning of a new and inspiring journey for you, as you discover what really does make sense. If you remain patient with you discovery process, the gaps and spaces between the dots will at some point connect and a picture will appear; a new, unique sequence will be created or revealed. Your reward for being patient, for waiting for clarity to emerge over time, is the uncovering of an inspiring tale to tell, or a new perspective to share with others. You are utterly unequipped with this mental definition, however, to solve your own problems, or make sense of your own life. Interpersonal: In order to receive the pressure to make sense of life, those with the Channel of Abstraction have to find a way tot share their minds with the outside world. Their casual, storytelling minds, while a gift of historians, should never be relied upon for the facts. This is the part of our genius that finds either inspiration or confusion in our intellectual drive to break experience down, and look at them over and over again fro every possible angle, even if most have no value. It is incredible thought to hear the active, experiential mind reach a moment of clarity, whatever path is taken to get there, and share that 'Aha!' with the Collective. Gate 64: Before Completion - The Gate of Confusion Transition, like birth, requires a determined strength for the passage through. Accepting confusion, the state before order is established,is part of Gate 64's process of attempting to make sense of a constant flow of data that continually recycles through the mind. Gate 64 is the pressure behind that flow, not the gate that resolves the confusion. Your mind is filled with a string of disconnected memories and images from your past that need filtering and sorting until you an see or make sense of what really happened. In order to enjoy your mental state of confusion and not become overwhelmed by it, let the clips of you past experiences simply stream through your mind until the message of the movie becomes clear to you. When it does, share it with others. If you put pressure on your mind to figure the data out with a specific methodology, you may increase your level of confusion and trigger anxiety. It takes great inner strength to let the confusion process resolve in its own way and time, thus leaving your peace of min intact. It may also be tempting to react in some way one the clarity arrives, but these "aha's" are for sharing, not acting upon. Without Gate 47 you may be temped to resolve the confusion prematurely. If Gate 64 is the one who remembers the disorganized collection of film clips that passes through its life, then Gate 47 is the editor who attempts to assemble them all into a meaningful slice of human experience. You will not see the full picture immediately as you tentatively start to sort through the collection of images, and it may not be apparent to you at first which clips holds the key to your eventual mental realization. As new details emerge, you may vacillate between perceiving the even this way or that way through a mix of recognitions that direct you toward different interpretations. At first you may feel that rather than the process becoming easier, it is becoming more complicated for you to reassembel the mental sequences in a way that makes sense. If you can step back and trust, however, you will eventually cycle through to that "aha" moment. The secret is to avoid the pressure to act on every conclusion that comes to you, and simply enjoy the array of possibilities that move through your active mind, until one stands out. You are then ready, when asked and it is correct of you, to share your recognitions with others. Without Gate 64 you may put pressure on yourself, and forget to wait for the revelation that will truly bring the mental activity to a temporary halt.
